about action sports arlington

Rich Senff, owner, purchased the business of Action Sports in Arlington, Washington, in 1984. At that time the small store was located on West Avenue in the corner of the shopping center next to Arlington Pharmacy. He then moved the store to a location on Olympic Avenue, which is now part of the Arlington Hardware store. The store then relocated just a few blocks North in a building that was once occupied by his grandfather, Harry Senff, where he operated a "Pool Hall".  Recently the store has made its final move to its current location, one block south at 340 N Olympic Avenue.  Rich is very excited about this larger location and is looking forward to serving and supplying his community with their sporting goods needs.

Rich is a graduate of Arlington High School, class of 1981, where he played on the AHS 1979 State Champion Football Team (#54), and at 141 he was also the 1981 State AA Wrestling Champion.  He married Karen (Lockwood), in 1990, they live in Arlington have two children; Nathan (1996) and Natalie (1999), and family dog “Cocoa”.

Action Sports is a small town, local business, that strives to give you the hometown, small business, family friendly atmosphere every time you come in.  We do our best to meet the personal needs of each and every customer that comes through our door.  Even if it means just coming in for a “chat”.  Owner Rich Senff loves to get to know you and help you with what you are looking for.
